À l'adolescence, Jonathan Comnène regarde beaucoup de films et écrit des histoires qu'il met en images dans sa chambre avec un caméscope amateur. Après des études de lettres entre Paris et Lyon, il écrit plusieurs courts métrages de fiction et travaille comme assistant réalisateur, journaliste pour Arte, lecteur de scénarios. Aujourd'hui, il regarde toujours beaucoup de films, anciens et nouveaux, et rêve à ce qui pourrait bien venir après son premier pas...
