It is the year 2045. In an attempt to save his relationship with Eva, Dani gets a double to cover his absence when he is not there and she needs him.
El doble (The Double) is an episode in the series Historias para no dormir (Stories not to Sleep), made up of four stand-alone horror stories. This 2021 anthology pays tribute to the original 1996 series by Narciso Ibáñez Serrador,which left a deep mark on Spanish audiences. El doble stars actress Vicky Luengo (Antidisturbios) and is inspired by a short story by Ray Bradbury.
