On a volcanic island a young tigress wakes up to her femininity.
Born in Budapest, Anna Katalin Lovrity is an independent animated film director. In 2016 she was awarded a Masters in Animation from the Moholy-Nagy University of Applied Arts (MOME).She is also a contributor to ZINA, a fanzine created by Hungarian women artists. She experiments in various animation techniques and formats to create intelligent visual content with a strong message. Volcano Island was selected in the Plans Animés section of Premiers Plans in 2018.
