Jean Denizot grew up in Sancerre, in the Berry. He studied cinema in Nantes, at the Lycée Guist'hau, then at the University of Paris 8 in Saint-Denis. He is a member of the reviews La Voix du regard and Tête-à-Tête, and runs the cinema club in Ville d'Avray, where he teaches film studies. He has made two shorts, Mouche, in 2006, and Je me souviens, in 2008, and is currently preparing the shooting of La Belle vie, his first feature film, produced by Mezzanine Films. He received the Europa Cinemas' Label in Venice in 2013 and was selected in Angers in 2014. He was released the same year.

Rafael Kapelinski studied English and American literature at the University of Torun, in Poland, and then directing at the London Film School. He first worked as the director of the Camerimage Film Festival in Torun before setting up his production company Aurora Film. He has written and directed shorts (dramas and documentaries) including Emily cries, which was selected for, and won prizes in, several festivals, most notably in Brest. His feature project, Up on the roof was selected for the Cinéfondation residency in 2009. He has recently made two shorts, To Bury The Horse et The Informer. He is currently developing his project Oranges From Paradise with his production company.

Rachel Lang was born in Strasbourg in 1984. After studying philosophy and drama at the conservatory in Strasbourg, she went to the IAD in Belgium to study directing. Her graduation film, Pour toi je ferai bataille (2010), won the silver leopard in Locarno, and is the first part of a triptych. Les Navets blancs empêchent de dormir (2011) is the second part, and is currently in post-production. She is working on the third part, a feature entitled Workshop en carrelage, produced by ChevalDeuxTrois production. She is currently directing her first feature film, Baden Baden (ex. Workshop en carrelage).

Paul Negoescu was born in Bucarest in 1984. He graduated in directing from the National University of Film anf Dramatic Arts in 2007. Amongst other films he has directed Examen in 2006, Radu + Ana et Tarziu in 2007, Acasa and Scurta plimbare cu masina in 2008, both of which were presented in competition at Premiers Plans. His films have been selected and won awards in major festivals including Berlin (three times), Karlovy Vary, Slamdance, Rotterdam and London. In 2009 and 2011 he was nominated for the European Film Awards with the short films Renovation and Derby. He is also the artistic director of the Timishort Film Festival in Timisoara in Romania.
The film was released in France in 2013 under the title A Month in Thailand and was selected in Angers in 2013. (International Sales: MPM Films, Distibution: Épicentre).

Guillaume Senez is French, Belgian, but above all from Brussels. After graduating from INRACI in 2001, he made two shorts: La Quadrature du cercle in 2006 and Dans nos veines in 2009, both of which were coproduced by Iota Production (Brussels) and Les Films Velvet (Paris). Strengthened by this fruitful collaboration and these saving cinema experiences, he is starting on the preparation of his first feature, Keeper.

Marianne Tardieu is 35. She studied at the Ecole Louis Lumière following a master in philosophy. Since then she has worked on several types of films, from commercials to features, as an assistant camerawoman or DoP. She also teaches classes on cinema photography at ESEC, in Paris. In 2007, she co-directed a feature film, entitled Les Gueules noires, on the comeback of a rock group. She participated in writing three short films, including Tremblay en France by Vincent Vizioz, Pantin Fesival grand Prix winner in 2011.
125 écrans plasma is titled Insecure and is produced by La Vie est belle films associés. The script was read in Angers in 2013 by Reda Kateb and the film was selected to the Acid Programme in Cannes in 2014.

Kostia Testut was born in 1980. After a master in information sciences and communication at la Sorbonne Nouvelle, he went to the scriptwriting department of La fémis in 2002. While there he made Label rouge in 2003, and also wrote several feature scripts, including Orso le magicien, his graduation work was carried out under the supervision of Jean-Claude Carrière.
He directed with Paul Calori the short film Le Silence des machines,which was selected for Premiers Plans in 2008, and they are currently developing it into a feature film with the production company Arcapix.

Harry Wootliff is a British writer-director born and brought up in Leeds, now living in London. Her debut short film Nits was BAFTA nominated in 2004, selected for Cannes Directors Fortnight and also winner of the TCM/London Film Festival Award. Her second short Trip, (2008) was selected for Berlin Competition and shown at over thirty festivals worldwide. In 2010 she developed a feature film script Runaway, at the Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam, this project was also pre-selected for the Cannes Residence. Eating The Elephant is being produced by Matthieu Braconier at The Bureau, and Harry is also currently developing a project with producer Kate Ogborn which is being funded by the UK Film Council.
