Katrin Vorderwülbecke was born in 1970 in Sapporo, Japan. From 1973 she lived in Germany and studied at the Offenbach University of Art and Design in 1991. In 1997 and 1998 she directed "You Make My Body Shake", her graduation film at the Sheffield Northern Media School.
