A female photographer observes seemingly ordinary events on her journey through rural Poland. A film without words, which says a great deal through looks, because gestures and movements are also an apt expression of human weakness.

Niko Brücher was born in Cologne in 1960. In 1981-82 he attended an animation seminar in Lausanne, film and video courses in New York. Practical training under Fassbinder, Costard, Troller, Schmidt and Kluge. 1982-83, assistant director to Peter Zadek and Gene Fairly (laser video disk). 1986, he organized the first European Low Budget Film Forum in Hamburg. In 1989, he began his studies at PWSF. "Hochzeitsgäste" was his first year project.
