Amal Kateb
Oran. One Friday in summer 1994. After doing a report in Kaboul, Salim returns to his hometown at the hour of prayer. He joins his lover Houria who is hiding in a safe apartment. To celebrate their reunion, Salim pulls out a bottle of wine brought back from Afghanistan. The trouble is, Houria doesn't have a corkscrew.

Amal Kateb grew up in Algeria. After arriving in France she firstly studied psychology before studying drama. A lover of song, writing and cinema, directing became vital for her. On ne mourra pas, born after 10 years of development, is her first drama.
