Neil Allcock was born in 1970. In 1994, he graduated with honors from the University of Westminster where he studied illustration and directed two animation films, "Mad about Boy" and "The Witch". That same year, he went to the Animation Department of the Royal College of Art. "We Love You" is the second film he has made at the RCA.
