Axel Koenzen
Jœ temporarily loses his sight after an accident. He becomes dependent on his mother and is forced to stay in a flat on the 23rd floor of a high-rise building.

Axel Kœnzen was born in 1972 in Hilden, Germany. He studied photography at the ICP in Brooklyn and was a photo editor at U.S. Office Max, FFF, and AMICA. He also studied at the New York Film Academy, before gaining first-hand production experience. In 1997, he enrolled at the DFFB. He has directed five other films: "Father feet" (1996), "Ulrike" (1997), "Kreisweise" (1997), "Schmutzige Begegnung" (1997), and "Woodbridge" (1998).
