Born in 1983 in St.Petersburg, Russia, she spent her first seven years on the island of Kronstadt with her grandparents. In 1991 she emigrated to Germany with her family. Since 2003 she has lived on the island of Berlin. In 2009 she graduated from HFF "Konrad Wolf" with a diploma in animation. Wandernd Haus voll Vogelwasser (Wanders) is her graduation film.
