After studying at the École Duperré, Émilie Mereghetti studied animated film at the Lycée René Descartes in Cournon-d'Auvergne. In 2018, she graduated in animated film from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs with her graduation film Bienvenue dans le monde des géants. In 2019, Émilie worked on Florence Miailhe's film La Traversée (The Crossing) as assistant director.
