A little Silician village during the Fascist era ,1923. A policeman, Marschal Rosati investigates the British citizen E.A Crowley who is suspected of subversive activities. This film was freely adapted from a short story by L. Sciascia and the life of A. Crowley.

Born in Milan in 1963, he studied architecture and music, before lancing into acting, scriptwriting and film directing. He graduates from CSC with honors. "Apocrifi" is his fifth short film.
