Vie matérielle
Frank Heslon
The film recounts the daily gestures and actions of a family on the edge of society. Living in an abandoned station, they are swept along by the flow of the unchanging days. He works small jobs here and there, while she takes care of the two kids and prepares the meals. One afternoon, the woman is visited by an employee of the water company, who has come to cut off their water after two years of unpaid bills. She remains perfectly silent, and allows him to methodologically and ashamedly go about his job...
