After studying at La Poudrière in 2005, Christophe Gautry met the people from the Folimage studios, with whom he worked as a special effects director on several short and medium length films, particularly in model animation. In parallel to this he co-directed short films with Arnaud Demuynck (including La Vita Nuova, which was presented at the Festival Premiers Plans in 2009) and also developed more experimental projects such as Vertige.

Born in Annecy, Mathieu Brisebras studied at ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels, then at La Poudrière, where he met Christophe Gautry, and from which he graduated in 2004 with his film Rue des abattoirs. Since then he has mainly worked on TV series and institutional films.
