Alex Stockman

Brussels, autumn 1999. At the end of his first love affair, Joris, 26 years old, finds himself alone again. He decides to leave his favourite town for a sunnier location, Portugal. However, a premonition prevents him from going to the train station. He turns back and stops temporarily in an old hotel. Joris is going to stay four more days and nights under the influence of the city in a weird mood between memories and forgetting, dream and awakening.

Born in Brussels in 1962, Alex Stockman was a translator-interpreter before becoming in 1991, a cinema critique for the weekly newspaper, "Humo". In 1993, he created the production company 404 FILMS with Kaat Camerlynck, which produced Violette (1994) and In de Vlucht (1996). Le Pressentiment is his first feature film.
