Charles, 16, a pupil in a well-off suburb, dreams of being black and living in a housing project. His fantasy has a name: Black Charles. A double who follows him everywhere, including on this day where he decides to break with his everyday routine and join his older brother in the hope of a new life.

In parallel to her work as a casting director, Tatiana Vialle made a first short film Du Poulet, and then directed Les Eaux et forêts by Marguerite Duras and Une Femme à Berlin by Marta Hillers. In 2018, she co-directed with Swann Arlaud Venerman, and staged her book Belle-fille.
