Zhenchen Liu was born in 1976 in Shanghai. He graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieur de la Villa Arson and at Le Fresnoy, studio national des arts contemporains in France. He works a great deal on the subjects of urbanisation, modernisation, and the development of China.
