Pierre Primetens was born in 1974. After having been an assistant-director, production-assistant and technical support for numerous documentaries and fiction films, Primetens became director of photography for the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie. He also works for the documentary department of the French-German television station, ARTE. He earned a DEUG in cinematic and audio-visual studies in 1998.
