Beirut, 1982. To see his fiancée Gabriel has to cross a bridge guarded by snipers. That night it is the opening of the World Cup, the whole of Beirut is waiting for the match! With the snipers succumb to football fever, allowing Gabriel and Mokthar to cross in his old Plymouth?

Zaven Najjar is a French director and art director. He studied animation at ENSAD then cinema at SAIC in Chicago. After his studies he built up a career as a graphic artist and illustrator, particularly for the Institut du monde arabe, the Grand Palais and Cinema Paradiso. He was known on the web for the illustration series Rapposters in 2013, which became an apparel collection with the brand Quatre Cent Quinze, then the Pharapops, in 2015. Un obus partout is his first film.
