Igor Berschadski was born in 1965 and studied Medecin in Moscow, then German Literature in Berlin. In 1995, after a few years practicing medecin, he studied at the Superior School for Scenario and Directing in Moscow. Troje is his graduation film, which received the Grand Prix at the Mannheim Festival.
