Teresa Villaverde
Maria would like to remain forever with her two brothers whom she loves passionately, but life's ordeals gradually separate her from them. Torn apart a tragic family situation, she cannot break away from her solitude and is more and more cutting herself from the real world as she lives throught traumatizing experiences.

Teresa Villaverde was born in 1966 in Lisbon. She started out having a small part in Joao Monteiro's "Aflor de mar", in 1986, then worked an editing assistant. In 1991, she made her first feature-lenght film, "A Idade Maior", which gained attention at festivals but has never had a public showing in France.
