Bani Khoshnoudi
Two Afghan refugees, Arya and Khorshid, a young man and woman, meet in a tiny hotel room in Paris where they wait to hear from their smuggler when they will depart for England. As they wait in their tiny room, others refugees are already in transit.

Bani Khoshnoudi was born in Iran. She studied photography and film in Texas. Today she lives in Paris. While in the States, she worked as a screenwriter and editor on numerous projects including experimental shorts and documentaries. In France, she worked as artistic director on five documentaries complied under the title L'autre Iran, broadcast on many European TV channels in 2003. She then made Transit, her first short film. She is currently working on a documentary about the lawyer Shirin Ebadi, winner of the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize.
