Born in 1989, Loïc Espuche studied visual communication at La Martinière in Lyon. He then went to study at EMCA in Angoulême, where he codirected Le Zizi à Suzy and Je repasserai dans la semaine. He finished his education at la Poudrière where he made Caduc (1-minute film), Les Chocottes (Les Espoirs de l'Animation, Gulli) and Tombés du nid, his graduation film.
