Alex, a 17 year old Russian, crosses Europe as a stowaway in a truck with the hope of finding a better life in Italy. He takes advantage of a stopover in Budapest to go and find his brother, who lives there, after years of separation.

Denes Nagy was born in 1980 in Budapest. From 2002, he studied directing at the University of Drama and Film in Budapest. Some of his short films directed at the University have been selected in festival competitions: Eva Kovacs at the Tampere Film Festival in 2006 and 2003 November at the Fresh Film Festival Karlovy Vary in 2005.
