Anna is 40 and suffers from dwarfism. Her mother, a beautiful sophisticated woman has never accepted this difference. The taboos and silences between the two women resonate even louder when they await a visit from Juan, Anna's brother.

Born in a small Catalan village in 1986, Carla Simón graduated with a degree in audiovisual communication in 2009 after spending a year in California. She went on to direct the pilot of a series as part of her Masters, as well as a medium length film and some music videos. She has been studying at the London Film School since 2011. Las Pequeñas Cosas is her graduation film.
