Against their will, the last four inhabitants of a small village are forced to move to a house they don't like. This change destabilises two of them and they plan their escape to taste freedom again.

Silvia Perra was born in Cagliari, Sardinia, in 1988. She graduated in Communication Studies from the University of Cagliari and attended the directing courses lead by CELCAM with teachers such as Salvatore Mereu. In 2010 she worked as a Casting Assistant for the film Tajabone directed by Salvatore Mereu (67ª Mostra del cinema di Venezia). In 2012 she directed the short-film Jovid, that won awards in several Italian festivals (including Visioni Italiane, Bologna). In 2013 she was selected as one of the 6 winners in the competition to join the course in Film Direction from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. La finestra is the short-film she directed for her diploma, with the film director Gianni Amelio as supervisor.
