Dania Reymond grew up in Algiers where she was born in 1982. She studied cinema at École des beaux-arts of Marseille and Lyon, and Le Fresnoy Studio national des arts contemporains. Her work goes from essays to fiction. In 2012, she made Jeanne, her graduation short film and won the Studiocollector award. In 2014, she was awarded Art Collector Prize at the annual Jeune Creation exhibition. In 2016, she made Le Jardin d'essai (The Trial Garden).
