Ten years have passed since the mad-cow disease wrecked havoc on Europe's public health systems. The media capitalised on the situation, and the number of potentially infected rose to six-digit numbers. Then like magic, the crisis disappeared as abruptly as it had appeared.

Olivier Magis was born in Woluwé-Saint-Lambert in 1978. He went to the Institute of Broadcasting Arts in Louvain-la-Neuve to study directing in 1999. He has worked on many film sets and traveled extensively (Mongolia, Lebanon, Ethiopia, Mali...). The Secret of Gods is his graduation film.
