Mar Coll was born in Barcelona in 1981. At 18, she was admitted into ESCAC where she specialized in the directing branch. In the 4 years of her studies, she has taken on various projects, of which one of them is her graduating film La Última polaroid. Apart from directing, she has also worked as assistant director or in a production team.
