Sanna Vilmusenaho was born in 1984. She has been working at West Highland Animation in Scotland in 2005. She has also studied comics art during her exchange in Kyoto Seika University, Japan in 2006. The Idol is her third animation film realized at Turku Arts Academy, after Shadow Play and Frozen Visitor.
