Aletta Collins was born in London and studied at the London Contemporary Dance School. Since then, she has worked in opera and theatre throughout Europe as a choreographer and director. As a choreographer, her film work includes The man who knew too little, by Jon Amiel, and Regina, by Maria Sigurdardottir. The girl in the red dress is her first short film.
