Raúl Arévalo was born in Madrid in 1979 and is a Spanish actor. He is famous for his roles in television, and for being one of the favourite actors of Spanish director Daniel Sanchez Arevalo. In 2009 he was awarded with a Goya for best supporting actor for the film Gordos. In 2013, he played in Pedro Almodóvar's film Los amantes pasajeros (I'm So Excited!), and in the film Alberto Rodríguez's La isla minima (Marshland) in 2014. Tarde para la ira (The Fury of a Patient Man) is his first feature film.

Tarde para la ira (The Fury of a Patient Man) is a thriller which, I hope, grabs people by the guts. Rage, bitterness, hatred and anger are subjects which interest me. One of the challenges of the film was to represent things with as much realism as possible. Talking of raw, brutal and dry violence, as if in “real” life, through a plot full of mysteries plunging this search for realism into the heart of a spectacular nature, with the indispensable rhythm inherent to genre, to keep the audience's attention.”
