Anna Luif was born in 1972 in Zurich. She obtained her degree from HFGK of Zurich in 1998, where she directed numerous short films. In 1999, she presented her graduation film, "Diebe Vol 1-3" , at Angers as well as at several other festivals, a film which received honours at HFGK. "Summertime" is her first post-graduation film.
