Sheng Min and his family live in Keifeng, a not highly developed town. One day Jian, Sheng Min's son, accidentally hits a young boy. Jian does not want to turn himself in to the police and Sheng Min feels guilty.
A student at the Beijing Academy of Dramatic Art, Zhang Qi has already made several short films. Still Alive is her 4th short.
