Since 1998, he has edited and published the German magazine "Revolver" (www.revolver-film.de) along with Christoph Hochläusler, Jens Börner and Nicolas Wackerbart. Schläfer, produced by Coop 99, an Austrian production company headed by filmmakers Barbara Albert and Jessica Hausner, is Benjamin Heisenberg's first feature film."Schläfer is more about the feeling of uncertainty owing to society than security issues related to Islamic terrorism, guilt, or even innocence. A story that draws on solitude and the abasement of people opposed morally and sexually." Benjamin Heisenberg
