Gurli Bachmann was born in Switzerland in 1989. She obtained a degree in illustration from the Hochschule Luzern and then a master's degree in visual communication from the Kunsthochschule Berlin. Since 2018, she has been working with brush, pencil and digital pen on various film and illustration projects. In 2019, she produced L'Inverno. Schleudergang (Spin Dry) is her second film for children.
