Bradley Rust Gray

The friendships and family life of a young girl, Hildur, living in a small fishing village on the east coast of Iceland. When her sister moves to the city, Hildur and her sister's boyfriend decides to join her. However, on the way their car breaks down and they are forced to camp whilst they wait for the car to be repaired. Lack of money and a love which starts to blossom between them, puts their friendship to the test...

Bradley Rust Gray was born in Dayton (Ohio) and grew up in Florida. He studied architecture, art and then cinema in Alabama, Chicago, London, Los Angeles and Reykjavik. He made the short film hITCH, which earned an award at The Sundance Film Festival, then the feature length documentary With you now (2001). Filmed entirely in Iceland, Salt is Bradley Rust Gray's first feature length fiction.
