A young man and his girlfriend are driving along a mountain road, and suddenly come across an inanimate body. The man is dead. The young girl goes to get help while the young man decides to stay alone with the unknown body. Soon, night falls over this desolate scene

After literary studies, Vincent Vizioz earned his living washing dishes in the back kitchens of Amsterdam and Edinburgh, then busking in the Montreal metro. Back in France he worked as a forester in the Alps, a boatman on the Seine, a taxi driver in Paris, and currently works as a climbing lumberjack in the bois de Vincennes. Rocaille is his first film.
