Joachim Trier is born in 1974 in Norway. In 2000, He is graduated of the National Film and Television School in England. Trier has already made a string of celebrated short films. Three of them, Still, Pietà and Procter, written with Eskil Vogt, have been screened at many international film festivals (Pietà and Procter have been selected in Angers in 2001 and 2003) Joachim Trier also directed commercials in England and Norway for the company Moland Film AS. Reprise is his feature debut.
