Renault 12 is a cinematic experience from documentary material: my mother's death. Renault 12 is a fragmentary narrative of learning that traces a course of rhythm to its different rituals on both sides of the Mediterranean.

After studying literature and for a period at Sciences Po, and then at CADAC (The Mexican Centre for Dramatic arts) and an unfinished doctorate in sociology on “Criticism in the French Press”, author and stage director Mohamed El Khatib, co-founded in Orléans in 2006 the Zirlib collective on a simple statement: the aesthetic is not devoid of political meaning.
