This film is connected to a shipwreck, the shipwreck of a city which, under the repeated attacks of the rain, sees its inhabitants sinking in its centre. An urban poem, made up mainly of fixed and front-on shots and conceived like a tiny opera.

David Coquard-Dassault was born in 1977 and graduated in illustration from the Ecole Emile Cohl in Lyon in 2001. He has taken part in projects for illustrating children's books and novel, and also in creating video games. His project for an animated short Noir, Gris, Blanc (L'Ondée) won the Jury Grand Prix at the Annecy Inernational Animation Festival in 2005, before it was even made.
