Since he took over the farm five years ago, Jérôme hasn't had a day of rest. With his mother, he barely manages to keep their small farm running. This December, Jérôme is leaving for town to try to make some extra money. Arriving from the countryside, he makes friends with an outspoken homeless man. Then, after a comical interview at the ANPE, he finds a job on the service staff of the city hall. It's "varied work", he's told...

Born in 1968, Eric Guirado obtained his degree in film studies in Lyon in 1992, before completing a post-graduate degree in Audiovisual Creation and Communication in 1993. He has since directed several short films: Lonelytude ou une légère éclaircie (1994), Les Beaux Jours (1997) and Un Petit Air de Fête (1999), awarded at numerous national and international festivals and given the Ceasar for best short film. Guirado has also directed documentaries for French television, and was chosen by the ADAMI to direct the "ADAMI 2000 Young Talents" series. Je suis un super héros, filmed by Guirado for this series, obtained the Audience Award at the 2002 Brest Film Festival. Quand tu descendras du ciel is his first feature-length film.
