Martijn Veldhoen
A man, and later a woman are walking through public space with the phones to their ear. They are carrying a bag containing an electronic counting device. It looks like they are involved in a very serious matter, but then something happens that seems to neutralise the importance of their actions. The question is: will they notice it?

Martin Veldhoen was born in Amsterdam in 1962. He studied painting at the Amsterdam Rietveld Academy from 1979 to 1984. He has taken part in several multidisciplinary projects and has presented his work in many international galleries. Public Spaces (2006) is his first short.
