Victoria Harwood graduated at the Royal College of Art and the NFTS, where she directed two fiction films, Blood Money and Artist Dummy. Before that, she directed a short experimental video Gun Girl. Preserve is her first short film for cinema. She also worked as a costume assistant on Richard III, The Madness of King George, and The Remains of the Day.
