Cornered within a process he does not understand, a man advances towards an endlessly diminishing point, an unachievable goal. Pointless repetition, re-examination of the same images. The film spirals downward, created from repetitive, concentric circles, yet always moving towards the abyss.

Eric Oriot was born in 1972. After studying at a school of Fine Arts, he directed several films, one of which, "Mal d'Aurore", was inspired by a visit to the places lived in by the writer Lautréamont. This film obtained the grand prix de la recherche at the 1996 Unesco international art film festival. Eric Oriot continues to study at the national Studio of contemporary Art in Fresnoy.
