Maxime Kathari was born in and grew up in Geneva. When he was younger he acted in a few films on television and in the cinema, enabling him to discover life on a film set. When he was 18 he went to the Cinema department of the Haute école d'art et de design (HEAD) where he made several short films.+ 1 is his graduation film.
