A young sound director has a task. Rafael must record a crucial sound for a film. With his headphones on he scans the city of Lisbon, looking and listening for this the slightest elusive sound – his journey is made harder by all sorts of intrusive noises.

Afonso Mota was born in 1993 in Lisbon. In 2015 he graduated in Cinematography from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, in Lisbon. His student short The South was selected for IndieLisboa in 2016. In 2019 he directed his first fiction film Poder fantasma (Phantom Power).
