Alex Pastor Vallejo was born in Barcelona in 1981. He graduated from the scriptwriting department of ESCAC (Escola supérior de cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) in 2003. While he was there he made the short La ruta natural, which won awards in several festivals, including Angers in 2006. Peacemaker was the last film he made at ESCAC. He is currently finishing his first feature Carriers, shot in the US with his brother David.
