Ospiti
Matteo Garrone

Gheni and Gherti are two young Albanian cousins who've emigrated to Rome. Both work in a restaurant which displays art and photograph exhibitions. The owner helps them find boarding with a young photographer called Corrado who lives at Parioli, the residential area in Rome. Gherti becomes friendly with Lino, the former doorman of Corrado's building, an immigrant from Sardinia. He cannot handle Gheni's remarks and decides to leave his job. With nothing to do, he wanders around Parioli and meets Lino again, who is looking for his wife whom has disappeared after having completely lost her head. Gheni, meanwhile, continues in his efforts to win promotion and becomes more and more friendly with Corrado. Thus, a subtle network is built between these different characters.
