Orléans, 2011. Joane and Sylvia are twenty, they work as dancers in a strip club in the city. It is the period of the annual celebrations for Joan of Arc. The two girls are swept up in these strange events.

Born in Paris in 1976, Virgil Vernier studied philosophy before going to the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris. In 2007 he became known with the release of Chroniques de 2005, a documentary film on the lives and dreams of 5 people born at the dawn of the 1980s. He is currently finishing the writing of Mercuriales, his first fiction feature.
